Job title: Freelance Press Officer for France
Location: Paris
Reports to: Director for International Business & France Account Manager
Summary :
Way To Blue is the market leader of online publicity and promotions to the entertainment industry, working across film, music, TV, DVD and videogames industries in Europe and UK. Within our clients we find the most important companies such Warner, Universal, Sega, EA Games, UIP, etc.
The successful candidate will develop online press and promotion campaigns for our client’s releases across France
Main Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the research of appropriate websites for each campaign depending on the genre of each release.
- Responsible for contacting the editors and negotiate placements online.
- Responsible for the good running of the campaign (meet the objectives, report in time, follow the guidelines, etc.)
- Working with an international team with head quarters in London, UK
Reporting:
- Weekly to Director for International Business, France Account Manager and clients
- Ensure reports are delivered on timely fashion
Support to Way To Blue
- Help build and update the existing data base of contacts, website statistics, existing and potential clients...
- Market intelligence
- Translations and product support (website, presentations, database)
This job opportunity requires, in order of priority:
1. PR experience / Media relations
2. English / Client Facing skills

4. Ability to work from home
Education :
Further education degree in PR, Journalism, Marketing, or other field related to job description. Communications a plus.
Professional experience :
- Proven experience in PR and promotions (3+ years; ideally, but not essentially, in the entertainment industry)
- Extensive knowledge of computers and the online landscape in France
